Happy Winter Holidays to my Hug Bug friends! I love performing my Holiday Delight concerts and inviting everyone to sing along, dance and play bells and maracas with songs like: “Feliz Navidad”, “Silver Bells”, “Zulu Carol”, and “Bonjour l’hiver (Hello Winter)”. I also love to sing “I am a Pizza” (“Je suis une pizza”) and “I am a Bubble” with the same melody. Write your own variations, like “I am a Snowflake” or “I am a Polar Bear”. It’s a great game for long car trips during the Holidays.

It is very frosty this year in Sechelt where we now live. Winter is here! We may soon have some snow! I love to snowshoe on Silver Star Mountain in Vernon, BC.

 

 

 

I wrote my song, “The Mountains” while skiing on Silver Star Mountain. When you sing a song to yourself as you ski or snowboard down the mountain, it helps to keep your movements in rhythm – like dancing! Do you like to ski or snowboard? Here is a great winter sports song! Sing the echos.

Find your jingle bells and sing along. Collect old keys and put them on a shower curtain ring to make your own bells. They sound like snowflakes falling!  Even if you don’t live near the mountains, you can always enjoy walking in the frosty air. I love Winter! J’aime l’hiver!  Let’s go outside!
