Returns Policy

What Items Can Be Returned?

Within 15 days of receipt of your order, you may return the following items for refund:

  • Any UNOPENED CD, DVD or videotape;
  • Any book in its ORIGINAL/NEW condition; or
  • Any other merchandise in its ORIGINAL/NEW condition, as long as it is returned with its original packaging.

Opened, defective CDs, DVDs or videotapes will be exchanged for the same title. Refunds will only be offered if the title is no longer available.

Cracked or broken CD cases are not considered to be defective. In the event your CD case arrives damaged, we would be happy to send a replacement case. Please contact us by Email, quoting your order number, and provide us with details of the breakage. A replacement case will be sent out immediately.

Will Shipping Charges Be Refunded?

The shipping and handling costs that were charged when you placed your order are not refundable, unless an error was made on the part of Hug Bug Music. If returning an item, you must do so at your own expense.

If a returned item is defective, Hug Bug Music will bear the shipping charges to send out a replacement. However, if you ordered the wrong item, or have simply had a change of heart and wish to exchange an item for something else, additional shipping charges as described in our Shipping section will apply.

Where orders are marked ‘Return to Sender,’ unclaimed, or refused and returned without sufficient postage, Hug Bug Music must pay the return postage before the Post Office will release the package to us. In that event, you will be responsible for any additional fees levied. The additional charges will be deducted from your refund — in addition to the original shipping and handling charges, unless an error was made on the part of Hug Bug Music — before a credit is issued.

Where Should I Send My Return?

Please write your reason for return on the back of a copy of the packing slip which accompanied your order and send it, together with the merchandise being returned, to:

If you no longer have your packing slip, please write your name and order number on a separate piece of paper and include it, and the reasons for the return, in your package.

Hug Bug Music is not responsible for lost or damaged returns. We therefore recommend that you pack the item well and return your merchandise by insured Parcel Post.

When Will I Get My Refund?

Upon receipt of the return, we will process your refund and notify you by Email (if a valid Email address was supplied with your order) once done. If payment was by credit card, the refund will be applied against the same card that was originally billed.
